Pack Quantity and Pricing

Q. How does the pack quantity work?

A. The pack quantity is the number of individual items in a pack

Q. How does the price per bag work?

A. This is the price of each individual item within a pack,

Here there are 10 items in 1 pack if you add 1 to the Qty 1 pack of 10 is added to your basket

You will then see an order summary box confirming the number of packs 1, the number of individual items in that pack 10 and the cost 10 x £1.92

If you buy more packs the cost for each individual item is lower

Delivery

Q. What is the delivery charge?

A. Shipping is free if your order value is above £75, other shipping costs are shown at checkout based on your location and the size and weight of the product normally £4.99

Q. When will my order be sent?

A. We provide complimentary next day delivery for all orders over £75 placed before 2pm.

Orders placed after 2pm will be sent out on the next working day for delivery the following day, so if you place an order after 2pm on a Friday the order will be despatched on Monday for delivery on Tuesday

Covid-19 Update

Whilst we usually pride ourselves on getting every order out to our customers next working day, due to the additional safety measures and other logistical challenges, we can not always guarantee our next day promise at the moment, 95% of all orders placed before 12:00 (midday) will be delivered the next day, however, some parcels may be delivered 24 hours later than they usually would.

Returns

Q. I’ve ordered the wrong product can I return it?

A. Yes we will accept returns if you no longer want the item ordered you can return it to us at

We do not offer a free returns service so you would need to pay for the return postage. Once we receive an undamaged return to our warehouse the cost of the goods will be refunded, the postage charge would still apply as we have picked packed and sent the goods ordered to you. Any faulty product would be replaced free of charge by Packaging Chimp.

All our products are competitively priced and we offer a pricing discount based on the number of packs purchased.

Q. Can you send me a sample?

A. We can supply samples of some item please contact us via the live chat or at sales@packagingchimp with your request.

Sizes

Q. What size bag do I need?

A. As a guide to the size of bag you need measure your item, take the length and add the height to this + 50mm and for the width take the width and add the height to this + 20mm.

So if your item was 200mm wide x 300mm long and 50mm deep the bag you need would be (200mm + 50mm + 20mm) = 270mm wide x (300mm + 50mm + 50mm) = 400mm long

Postage Information

Q. How much will it cost to post?

A. The amount of postage you pay depends simply on the size and weight of the item you’re sending. Please see below the size and weight formats for Royal Mail's Pricing in Proportion Postage If your items have any dimension larger than those listed below then you’ll need to send those items via a courier service:

Q. How much will it cost to post a tube?

A. For tube-shaped items, the length of the item plus twice the diameter must not exceed 104cm, with the greatest dimension being no more than 90cm.

Size Information

Q. What size product do I need?

A. Please see below the standard sizes for paper and envelopes:

Paper Sizes: The dimensions of the A series paper sizes, as defined by the ISO216 standard, are given in the table below
If you are sending paper this size the postal tube you need is the width + 30mm

The C series of paper is used only for envelopes using the same number as the A series, this means that an A4 letter
could fit unfolded into a C4 envelope
